Cant find a reference

I have a large excel file I started building some months ago and I have just gone back to it to finish it off but I am being bugged by a problem everytime I open it, namely that on opening I get a find file window looking for a file that isnt in the SS. The file it is looking for did have some information I utilised in building the new one but as far as I can recall there would be no external reference to it. I have searched the new SS looking for the reference but it is like a needle in a haystack.

Does anybody know of a way to track down a reference of this type so that I can find it and deal with it?

Thanks for your help.

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
What about a shot in the night: Edit - Links and Break Link if you have any that shouldn't be there. If that doesn't fly; Edit - Link and Change Source, and change to the source you're deriving from, i.e the name of your workbook.
