Can't find Circular reference

Hello, not sure what you need to help me out, but I have a problem with a circular reference error.

I went through all sheets (about 40 or so sheets) and couldn't find it with the function unter formulas, circular reference. Any other way to check for this?

It's usually indicated in the left lower corner of the sheet

Well yes, but that won't work as I have tons of formulas like this

=IF('$O'!H44="","X",'$O'!H44)

which I guess in theory is also a circular reference

There is a macro here if you want to give that a go.

No, that kind of formula is not a circular reference, as long as it is not entered in '$O'!H44 What is a circular reference in Excel // PerfectXL Spreadsheet Validation
