Can't fully copy links with dashes in them

With some of my data processing tasks, I'm given an Excel file with many links in column A, and then copy and paste them into a browser. For links that do not have dashes in them, I can just click the link once and it will auto-highlight, allowing me to then just Ctrl + C and move on with pasting. However, when the link has a dash in it, or a series of dashes, it only copies half or a portion of the link. Is there a way to disable that functionality in Excel? I'd like for it to auto-highlight like other links without dashes. It just makes a noticeable difference in how much time it takes to process links without dashes as to those with dashes since a lot of copying and pasting is occurring.

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.

I have no problem copy/paste when doing this, its probably your raw data. Are the links part of the webaddress? what does the data look like?

Basically what is happening is excel is not completing the URL as the hypen is like a deliniator.

maybe there is spaces somewhere, try using Trim. Not sure that would do it without seeing your data.

Thanks for the reply. This is basically what's happening. I've attached screenshots.
