Hello,

I'm having an occasional problem in Excel where I type a formula but the cell displays the formula text and not the result. (This is not a case of having Hit Ctrl + ` to hide or display formulas).

For example:
Cell A1 Contents: 2
Cell A2 Contents: 2
Cell A3 Contents: =A1+A2

Instead of displaying the formula result in Cell A3 (i.e. the number 4), it is displaying =A1+A2.

It is quite annoying since I don't know why this happens or how to make it go away. I tried F9 for Calc Now and it has no impact.

Thanks,
Suzanne

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
This may be because the cell is formatted as text. Check that in the menu Format->Cells, and if so, change it to general and re-enter the formula.

Hope this helps
