Hi,

I'm trying to insert rows in a large spreadsheet in excel 2007 (row limit not exceeded though)... When I try to insert rows I have started getting the error message: "excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications"

Does anyone know how I can resolve this?

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Its telling you that you don't have the resources. Its not trying to fool you.

How many rows are you inserting?
How much data is in there rows?
Are you running a ton of programs at once?
Whens the last time to rebooted the PC and attempted to insert the rows?
You check task manager and see what the memory usages of Excel is and your PCs available memory?

don't know if it'll help, but try changing the calculation to manual first. insert the rows, then change it back to automatic.
