Hi,

I have:
A sheet with data, defined as a table
A sheet filled with pivot tables (source data above)
A sheet with pivot charts and pivot slicers

This third sheet did have a timeline slicer and I'm not sure how but resizing and moving cells around, it's disappeared (there are no hidden rows or columns or anything equivalent).
I used VBA to verify the shape count on the sheet and it did appear that there was no timeline slicer.

Back to pivot tables, insert timeline slicer, connect to other pivot tables. I then select the timeline slicer, press CTRL+X to cut it but when I switch to the third sheet and press CTRL+V, nothing pastes, but the timeline slicer no longer appears on the sheet with pivot tables.

No worksheet events, only VBA code is to add a (4th) sheet with a specific name based on today's date and this has no relation to any of the sheets described above.

Has anyone experienced this or can suggest a cure?

TIA,
Jack

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Found a answer, on the Sheet with the pivot charts and slicers, selected a chart and then through the pivot menu added a slicer, then connected it to the required charts.

Not sure if this is expected behaviour or not being able to move between sheets, but found a solution
