Can’t refresh Data Type

I’ve imported an Access DB (2 tables) into Excel. I have a vlookup column on the table in Excel so I can resolve for Parent name. When I click refresh i get the attached error, why is that?

have you tried to change the Data Type in the Power Query Editor before performing the lookup?

No, I honestly was not sure what was going on. Thank you I will try to do that. Any suggestions on what I should change it to?

I would suggest changing everything to General or text, then in the excel itself, you can change and format each column.
