Hi!
I have 3 .xlsx files with this problem.
A user open the file to edit.
A Second user open it as read only.
The first user can not save the file.
There is a msg that "another person is working on it... Try it later".
Any ideas?
Tks

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
This may work. Place this code in Workbook and save as .xlsm
VBA Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
If ThisWorkbook.ReadOnly = True Then
    MsgBox "This Workbook is being used by another person. Please try again later.", vbInformation, "Unavailable"
    ThisWorkbook.Close
End If
End Sub

Thanks for your reply, but I wanna let people open it as ready only. It Just can't stop the saving capacity of the user not in read only.
