Hi there,

I have a Live Price which is running at all time, therefore, i need to capture at the moment or when i entered something onto another column.

For example:

Live Price running in column "G1"
when i enter "take" or anything in column "H1"
then i wanted the running price in "G1" will appear in "F1" without running/fixed.

I just need a simple formula for this work, no macro or visual basic is required. Please advise. Thank you so much.

Hopefully I read this right

You just want to enter the value from column G into F when you type "take" into H

In F have =IF(H1="take", G1, "")

I'm not sure how often the cells change but if you want to lock down a price you WILL need VBA to solve your issue.

Hmm... if not wrong with your formula the price will still be running in F1 cell and it won't fixed or lock the price. Anyone can help me?

If you right click on the sheet tab and go to view code then paste this

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
If Target.Value = "" Then Exit Sub
If Target.Address = "$H$1" Then Range("F1") = Range("G1").Value
End Sub

when ever anything is entered into H1 it will put the value of G1 into F1
