Hi All, I would like to capture the filtered data under a header using a formula in another cell. For e.g. In Column A I have a header Salesman (A1) Under this header i have values John (A2), Dennis (A3), Michael (A4), Vicky (A5) Suppose I applied autofilter in A1:A5 and filter Dennis, then i should get B1 as Dennis, If i filter John, then B1 should be John. Can i do this using some formula?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi krishna334, As far as I know that can't be done with a standard worksheet formula.

You could use a VBA User Defined Function (UDF) to display the Filter's properties such as Operator, Criteria1 and Criteria2.

Hi JS411,

Thank you for the reply.
Does the udf work if the macro is not enabled in macro settings?
