This is an excel 97 question.

When I select insert, then function. In the list I have a blank name that has a set of functions.

Can anyone help how to name or delete it.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

Where is the blank name located in the list? What are the names of the functions in the blank category?

The blank category is after UDF abd before engineeing. Some functions from engineering are dulplicated in the blank category

It sounds as though you've had problems with an add-in. Try removing all add-ins, and restarting Excel, and seeing if the blank category goes. If that doesn't fix it, then I'd recommend re-installing Excel.
