First off apologies if i'm reinventing the wheel, had a look for similar threads but couldn't find any that matched this.
We've been doing this in other ways but always wondered if there was a way to show cells like this:
Cell B3 = 2000
Cell B4 = 3000
Cell B5 = |B4-B3| if B4-B3 > 0
Cell B6 = |B4-B3| if B4-B3 > 0
(where |x| are used to stop the number displaying as negative)
Basically i do alot of VAT work and would be useful to be able to have the summary display whether the end of quarter difference will be owed to the revenue or whether we will get a refund.
Not sure if conditional formatting can be used to do this all i can do is get it to say:
Cell B2 = Payment Due?
Cell B3 = B3-B4>0
Which means B3 would show up as "False"
Any help appreciated.
