In a spreadsheet someone mailed me there's one cell that, after 255 characters, displays #########.

Now, I know I can display more than 255 characters in a cell but I'm not sure why this cell is behaving this way?

Any thoughts? Thanks...

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
If a cell is formatted as Text, then it will display the #### when the text is over the limit. Reformat the cell to General and the text should again show.
