Is there an easy way to restrict values that can be entered in a cell? For example, If I have the heading of Column A as 'Cities', and cell A2 might be Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York - but nothing else.

Use "Data" "Validation" and choose list
Then type the cities with a comma between
