Anyone know how to chance the color of the "cursor" that surrounds a cell that you have clicked on? -not the cell or cell boarder itself, but the normally black boarder that shows the cell(s) you have highlighted.

Whoever had this computer (at my workplace) before me has the color set at such a light blue, it's really hard to see.....and it's driving me CRAZY! All the other colors seem to be the Windows defaults (gray).

thanks!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK

If I'm remembering correctly, I believe that color is set in the Display options for Windows--it's not Excel-specific.

You can right-click the desktop and select "Properties" to open the Display dialog, then the check the options in the "Appearance" tab. One of the selections is probably set to that light blue color.
