Cell Data Validation

Is it possible to have validation that will not let you enter data in a cell if another cell is not equal to a specific value? For example you couldn't enter data in cell A5 if A1 said January.

Use Data, Validation, Allow: Custom, and for the formula, enter:
=A1<>"January"

How can I do this for more than 1 value, I tried =OR(A1<>"January",A1<>"February") but that doesn't work.

Like this:
=AND(A1<>"January",A1<>"February")

Add more arguments as necessary.
