Cell has formula with IF (generating email addresses). How do I set VBA email to the cell reference?

I have a VBA code to send emails automatically on cell value change. It works perfectly with dummy email addresses in the TO: field, but I want it to send to addresses generated by an IF function.
The VBA doesn't like the cell reference because it contains formula. How do I get around it?

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Set the cell that has the IF formula as a Named Range. Then replace the cell address in your VBA with the name of the Named Range, surrounded by quotation marks.

The IF formula is in a different sheet... does that matter? Also the IF changes based on other data will that affect the name? I've tried naming it, and referencing the named range, but it still doesn't like it.
