Hi,

I have a column of data where the numbers are stored as text & the last field in the data is a space.

For example in cell D15 is 00650657_ (where the _ is a space/blank value).

I need a formula to reference cell D15 so it removes the blank value at the end & just returns 00650657.

Any helpers ?

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
You could use TRIM(D15) if it is a space or SUBSTITUTE(D15,"_","") is a under score.

Kind regards

Saba

You can use
Excel Formula:
=LEFT(D15,LEN(D15)-1)
to have it as TEXT
or
Excel Formula:
=LEFT(D15,LEN(D15)-1)+0
to have it as numbers
