I get some data from a database that I have no control over. I save my file as a csv. Column A shows numbers in scientific notation but if I click on a cell it shows the actual number (010208011029).
How can I get the cell to display the actual number? Some values have leading zeros that I need to retain and display.

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Scientific notation meaning your number shows as 1E+10? If that's what you mean then you can just right click on the cell, click format cells, number, number, then click ok. Alternatively you can double click the column at the top which will autofit the cells to the values in them i.e. showing you the full number.

Thanks,
