Cell text on chart

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Hi

Try this

- Select the chart
- in the formula bar write =
- with the mouse click on the cell
- press enter

You should see a label on the chart linked to the value of the cell.

Hope this helps

At a footnote to PGC's suggestion above, note that you can only reference a single cell in the formula. Any sort of calculation or manipulation would have to be done in the referenced cell (as opposed to the formula bar of the label/text box).
