cell value from other sheet

In a menu type worksheet I have a list of other worksheet names in column A, just written in text.

I want to return a cell value (e10)from each of these worksheets in column B. Does anyone know the formula for this.

I have tried =A1&"!",$E$10 and similar forrmula, but without success.

Thanks VOG, I have used the indirect formula before but forgot all about it.
