Cell Width Problems!

[Excel Novice]

Hello, I was wondering if someone could please help me.

Let's say you have three cells in one column.

Can you make it so that each of these cells has a different width from the others, in that same column?

I'm trying to get my data to fit properly, but it is sooo frustrating!!!

why do you want different widths

maybe try merging cells
