Cell with text, to reference date from another field

Hey all..
I completely forget how to do the following:

I want cell c37 to say "records for 3/19/2009", where the 3/19/2009 changes daily and should be retreived from cell c3, and changes daily so i want c37 to also change based on c3, and can't remember for my life how to do it...

="records for " & TEXT(C3,"m/d/yyyy")
