Cells deleting

When I copy cells between execl sheets the cells I copy delete when pasted to the new sheet. How can I prevent this from happening?

Welcome to the board :)

Instead of using the standardpaste-commands You can either select the command Edit | Paste specials... and select the action You would like to take or ´right-click on the cell and choose the command Paste Special from the menu.
