I have some cells that, even with a correct formula, just shows the formula, it will not calculate the formula and show me a result. Does anyone know what could cause this?

My guess is that the cells showing the formula are Cell Formatted as Text. If I am right, and if they are in a column (if in multiple columns, repeat the following for each column individually)... select the column, then do one of the following....
XL2003 - Click Data/Text To Columns
XL2007 - Data/Data Tools/Text To Columns
XL2010 - I don't have it, so you will have to find Text To Columns on your own
Once you have done the above, a dialog box will appear... click the Next button and make sure the checkboxes are all unchecked, the click the Finish button and all should be well.
