Hi,

I need a CF formula that compares text strings ina column of cells.

For example, in column D, there are numerous texts in each cell in the first 50 cells. Those cells that contain the same text as higher back up the list, this fact is recognised so i can change the colour of the text.

Here's the CF formula for cell D10. Once you've entered it, you can use the format painter to populate it up and down:

=COUNTIF($D$1:$D9,$D10)>0
