Hi,

I have a named table Summary as below

DayTxBChDate
Monday22 Mar 2021
Tuesday23 Mar 2021
Wednesday24 Mar 2021
Thursday25 Mar 2021
Friday26 Mar 2021

I'm trying to use conditional formatting to highlight the entire row if the date is Today but it's only highlighting the first column.

Date column
Date for Monday is entered into G14, cells below are formula as:
Excel Formula:
=G14+1, =G15+1
, etc

Day column
Excel Formula:
=Text(G14,"DDDD")
dragged down to E18

Conditional formatting is:
temp.jpg

Can anyone tell why it's not highlighting the whole row from columns E:J?

TIA,
Jack

NB The column inbetween Day and Date appears empty but contains formulae masked with cell formatting: ";;;"

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
Hi,

Try using absolute referencing:

Excel Formula:
=$G14=TODAY()
