CF not working?

Hello folks,

I am trying to use conditional formatting on a range of cells that contain a formula: =IF(B3="","",IF(C3=MAX($C$3:$F$36),C3,IF(F3=MAX($C$3:$F$36),F3,""))) etc.
The formula works well and what I am trying to achieve is that when a cell displays the maximum value (as per the formula) that that cell has a yellow fill. I have tried using CF/highlight cell where the value is greater than 0 but this results in all cells having the yellow fill.

What am I doing wrong, please?

Try a formula in this form. Change the H3s to whatever cell you are referencing

=H3<>""

Got it! I'm now using CF where the cell does not contain a blank value.
