Hi
I need to try and get a formula for changing a cells color if it meets certain criteria, EG:-

Cell A1 will change to green if cell B1 has a higher number than cell C1, and it will change to RED if B1 was lower than C1.

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Welcome to the Board!

In A1 goto Format-->Conditional Formatting-->Formula is-->=B1>C1-->Format-->Pattern-->Green.

Add a Condition and Formula Is-->=C1>B1-->Format-->Patterns-->Red.

Note that there will be no formatting if they're equal, but that may be what you wanted.

Hope that helps,

Smitty
