Hi, I have several columns. Each column needs to highlight certain times in a certain color. For each column the time and color is different.
Column A 9:00 (color Blue)
Column B 5:00 (color Green)
Column B 6:00 (color Yellow)
Column C 8:00 (color Red)
Column C 9:00 (color Light Blue)

etc.

I have an index that per columns shows what color each hours needs to be.

The colors need to be changed for example Blue will be red; Green will be Orange; Yellow will be Dark blue; etc.

Find replace does not work with conditional format.

The long way would be going in every single column and use the "Manage Rules" in the conditional formatting.

I was wondering if there is a shorter way by just changed the color in the index so it will automatically update all columns to the color adjacent to hour in my index table.

Thank you!

Hi,

It all depends if you need to go through this process once for all ... or you will need to repeat these actions, which would justify building a macro ...

Hope this will help

Yes, the color change or which hours are highlighted might change.
