Hi,

Odd question but is it possible to change the background and or the text colour used in the VBA editor?

maybe green on black or something.

Excel Facts

Get help while writing formula
Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
You can change the font and font colour from Tools > Options > Editor Format tab.

As far as I know you cannot change the background.

Actually in that screen if you change the foreground and background colours it works.

Thanks.

my new desk has too much sun on it... the white is hurting my eyes.

Interesting. I confess I've never really thought about customising the appearance beyond changing the font, which I do for all my computers. Having set it to a light grey colour, I think I like it, so thanks! :)

I always invert the color settings for comments, to make them really stick out when looking at the code.

Of course, according to my signature, I don't use comments myself, it's only to view code from other people

I've set the background for comments to a darker grey, which works for me without being too distracting (so far, anyway).

Im going Green and black for the main text, gray on the comments text and dark blue for the keyword text.

Looks much nicer... would be nice if i could change the colour of the project explorer and properties window as well.
