Change Directory

Hi,

I have some script to save 4 text files from an excel workbook.

I want to be able to prompt at the start to ask which directory they want it in.
Is there a way to do this that brings up the explorer navigation window in the same way as it would if you clicked "Save As" manually?

Thanks

AW

Excel Facts

Get help while writing formula
Click the italics "fx" icon to the left of the formula bar to open the Functions Arguments dialog. Help is displayed for each argument.
Thanks Richie. That works OK.

It would be better if I could navigate by shorcuts (like you can in "Save As"). A lot of my directories are deep into explorer!

I have Windows 2000, if that's any help.

Is that possible?

Thanks

Hi AW,

Is this any better?

<pre>Sub GetName()
Dim MyName As String

MyName = Application.GetSaveAsFilename
MsgBox MyName

End Sub</pre>
