Hi all,

I need to change position of Firstname and Lastname.

Eg: Bill Smith becomes SmithB
Helen Clinton becomes ClintonH

Either VBA code or Function to do the job would be good.

Thanks in advanve.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Hello,

Try something like the following:

Code:
=MID(A1,FIND(" ",A1)+1,LEN(A1))&LEFT(A1,1)
And please post back when you realize that you've drastically over simplified the potential array of names you need to parse. :p
