Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi Mark

First, I'm not sure I understand correctly.

This is what I understood:
- you have some names and for each name a corresponding picture
- there's a cell where you write one of those names, and in another part of the worksheet the corresponding picture is displayed

Example

You use cell B2 to write the name. In another part of the worksheet, for ex. overlapping D2:E5, the corresponding picture is displayed.
Each time you change the name in B2 the picture updates.

Issues:

Do the names of the pictures ("Horizontal" and "Vertical") reflect the proportions height/width or are just names that have nothing to do with the dimensions?

You can have a solution without vba, just with formulas, but in that case the dimensions and position of the pictures displayed are fixed.

Hallo

I have done it in VBA but like to do it without macros I did it like this:

Have picture2 and picture3 oboe email each other. When cell b2 has has value horizontal picture3 will Go to the background, if cell b2 has value vertical picture2 will go to the background.

I hope you understand it now

Thanks

Mark
