I have a tab strip on a userform (NOT a Multipage). The TAB STRIP has six pages on it, Is there a way that I can change the font color to indicate that this tab is active.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Not sure it's possible to change the font on just one tab, why not change the style to TabStyleButtons.

I don't want to change the the font, only the color of the font to show that this is the selected tab. Font stays the same only color of font changes

I don't think that's possible, did you have a look at my suggestion?

As far as I know that's your only option, short of putting a label over the tab & changing the caption.

Thanks, for the suggestion, but I will give that a miss.

Hi Sharid,

I have been trying to achieve this via subclassing the multipage and doing a custom redraw.
Is your userform modal or modeless ? and is this going to be running on office x32bit or x64bit ?

Jaffar I would be interested in your answer. My form is Modeless, Both 32 and 64 if possible

I have just finished writing the code (it is quite extensive but a very good learning experience)

However, I first need to test it on x32 bit excel so I will post tomorrow.

Unfortunately, this will only work on modal userforms as it is almost impossible to subclass a modeless userform without making the application unstable.
