I have a combobox on a userform and the dropdown list contains only one column of two-letter codes (they come from the spreadsheet). The dropdown list is too wide (for appearances) -- how do I make the column size of the dropdown list narrower?

In the properties window, the "listwidth" is defaulting at 0 pt, and the "columnwidths" is defaulting with blank -- if those settings even matter.

thanks

thanks for responding steve

I changed it to various widths, and yes, it did narrow the column width (I never tried this before because I figured the default of 0 was the narrowest). However, when I changed the size to say 40, it puts a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the list. Since my list on only 2-digits wide, I do not need a horizontal scroll bar in the drop down list.

Any way to get rid of the horizontal bar?

thanks again

Yeah change the column width too so it same as listwidth. Providing you only have one column that is.
