Hello,

This is probably a really basic question but I am struggling. I'd like to plot a simple bar chart similar to the below but would like the bars to appear in the order A, B, C on the chart rather than C, B, A as below.

I can't see a way to make the change in the Select Data menu

Please can somebody help me?

Thank you.

Hello Glad_ir,
Select range "C43:D45" on the worksheet "STEP 1" and press sort from Z-A.

Hello Glad_ir,

Hi, thanks for the prompt help. Sorry I think I've over simplified this with the example I sent. Below is the real data set. I need to keep the row order fixed on the sheet and would like the plot order to match it. Is there a way to reverse the y axis order so it matches the sheet?

Can you transfer copy of the data set to the duplicated location and use it as chart data source?

I have Excel 2007, hope 2010 is simmilar.
Try something like this...
Layout tab=>Axes=>Primary Vertical Axis=>More Primary Vertical Axis Options=>
Check "Chategories in reverse order" check box.
Also do this...
Layout tab=>Axes=>Primary Horizontal Axis=>More Primary Horizontal Axis Options=>Axis labels=>High
