Change transparency of background image

I have changed my excel background (Page Layout --> Background). Is there a way in excel to change the transparency of the background image??

I guess there is none. Why don't you just edit the picture first before setting it as a background image?

Thats the only way it seems to.. I just wanna figure out if there was any way directly from Excel...
