Hi all

I need advice with changing a date format from US to UK format.

At the moment, the report shows the dates as mm/dd/yy and I need it to be dd/mm/yy
When I format the cells it shows in the proper format but I still have the problem when Sorting the dates.

08/01/05 should be 1st of August but shows as 8-Jan-05

I even tried using Right, Left and Mid functions but only get the Text returning, eg. 38360, 38361 etc

Please help if you know if it's possible

Select the column with the dates.

Goto Data>Text to columns...

On the 3rd step chose Date for Column data format and MDY from the dropdown.
