i've got some check boxes on a form i created. on the screen, they look fine. but when i print the form, they are barely visible. (which would make them easy to miss). can i change them to, say...to be blacked out when "checked" (i don't want to view the box around the check box...only want to change the appearance of the actual check box).

can i "bold" the check? are there any other options as to what appears in the check box? if checked, can it change the color of an adjacent cell? that might give it more visibility.

thanks for any replies!!

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi, Wilcox96,

you can link checkboxes to cells
you can attibute conditional formatting to cells
this will do the trick

If you put a checkbox in cell A1 and you link it to cell D1
If the conditional format of A1 is: D1 =True it will highlight when the box is checked

kind regards,

that was fantastic. it took me a sec to figure out i needed a "formula is" instead of a "cell value is"... but it worked like a charm.

thanks a bunch!!
