Changing Column Headings on Import

Hey guys-
I have a file that I am importing into my database. The original file's column headings are difficult to understand and work with. I'd like to change them to something more manageable. However, I cannot' change the original file's headings, and this is something I will be importing new file on a daily basis. So, I need to have the column headings changed once they get imported into Access. The original file will never change format from day to day- so it's consistent each time.

What's the easiest way to change the column headings automatically once the data is imported?

Side question- The original file is in a DBF2 (I think) format. What's the easiest way to import this directly into Access?

Thanks guys!

How about just leaving the column headers as they are, then create a query based on your table where you can change the column headers to something that suits your needs?

Yeah, I guess that could work. I'd have to run it everyday- but I could probably link that query in with any others I do on the thing...
Thanks!
