A coworker called me and said she wanted to sum data by county and I came up with this formula for her
=IF(COUNTIF(A$2:A2,A2)>1,"",SUMIF(A:A,A2,B:B))
This would work if her data was not filtered. Currently it adds up everything whether it's visible or not.
I do not understand how to modify this formula to work on filtered data, so that it only sums the visible data.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Rhonda
I'm using Excel 2013
=IF(COUNTIF(A$2:A2,A2)>1,"",SUMIF(A:A,A2,B:B))
