I've been reading the threads but yet to see it successfully executed. Is there a way to have vba change the local IP from dynamic to static and then set it to equal a cell or series of cells?

Idea being- when the user connects the laptop on the work network, it needs to be dynamic, but when connecting to a specific device to extract data, it's a specific ip (like 167.107.1.1) but can change depending on device. I'd like to have an excel sheet that has buttons and the user merely has to click either a button called "Dynamic" to have the computer's ip set back to dynamic or have a button that sets the IP to the cell(s) specified.

Can this be done?

Note- if yes, there are other things this sheet would be doing, like installing a program, checking system's cpu to meet/exceed speed specified in another cell, HDD space, etc

Thanks!
