CHANGING NUMBER TO TEXT

I hAVE A LONG LIST OF PART NUMBERS THAT I NEED TO CHANGE TO A TEXT FORMAT. I CAN NOT JUST CHANGE THE FORMAT SO TRIED TEXT().
iS THERE A SPACIFIC FORMATE TO USE OR IS THERE ANOTHER WAY?

Why can't you change the format to text?

For info try not to use all caps on the board as it's not too easy to read and it can seem like you're shouting.

you could try the morefunc add-in, it has a nbtext - number to text - function.

Hi Mike:

If your PartNumbers were entered as numbers, you can not just change the format of the PartNumbers that have already been already entered to Text format -- you can use one of the following formulas for that ...

=TEXT(A2,"@")

or

=A2&""

where A2 is the PartNumber which has been entered as a Number
