HI, I have a financial statement spreadsheet where I enter the local currency in say Column B, and in Column C, I want it to reflect the US$ equivalent.

In Column E & F, it shows the various currency ISO code and to its right (Column F) the conversion rate to US$. I want to create a dropdown list of E& F, such that when I select a particular currency , Column C will take the value in B and convert it to US$ using the that particular exchange rate.

Can anyone teach me how this can be done?

Thanks.

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Hi

I assume the dropdown would be in column A.
Code:
=VLOOKUP(A2,E:F,2,FALSE)*B2
