changing the header for columns

Hi there.
Well, my excel sheet format something wrong.Usually the rows is numbered and the columns header is in alphabetical order. But my spreadsheet columns is also numbered, so it is harder when it comes to write formulas.What's wrong?Is it possible for me to change the columns header back to alphabets?

Choose Tools, Options and on the General tab uncheck R1C1 style references.
