Hi there
This seems relatively simple task but not for me
I've been sent a worksheet where dates form part of the data
The dates in this worksheet form part of an equation for my own work.
Unfortunately the dates are all with the wrong year 2002 not 2006 and so my formulas are not working as they reference other cells that have the correct year dates aswell.

Is there a way to change only the year in a date that has been entered by adding 4 years to a cell or something like that.

I've got ASAP utitlities and I've searche the message board but I can't figure out how to do this

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.

One way:

=DATE(YEAR(A2)+4,MONTH(A2),DAY(A2)) where A2 contains the date to change.
