Hello, Is there any way of changing all the field settings all at once without hitting the drop down for each dragged item? When I drag them down into the sum box, they usually go to "count". I want all of them to go to "sum". My data is formatted as number. thanks

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Not if you have any non numeric entries in your data fields (and this includes blank cells too). You would need to make sure when you select the data range for the pivot table that you only select actual data rows (ie don't select whole columns unless you have data to the end of the sheet).
