Hi all,

I am trying to do something simple conceptually.

I want to do a stacked horizontal bar chart for the Actual values (which I have done already), and have the x-axis showing my Plan figures. Is this doable?
After much research, everyone seems to suggest XY Scattered chart, but when I tried it, it doesn't really do what I want to show.

Sample setup below:

Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4
Plan 2.2 2.1 2.3 2.4
Actual 1.8 1.9 3 2.2

Thanks in advance for your help,

L.T.

Hmmm... you probably want a clustered bar chart, otherwise it's not going to show anything meaningful. After all, I take it you're trying to compare Plan figures to Actual figures for each quarter. (A stacked bar chart is not going to be right visually.)

Hi gpeacock,

What do you mean by clustered bar chart?

Currently, I have a horizontal stacked bar chart displaying Actual amount. Below it, I have another horizontal stacked bar chart displaying Plan amount. I wish to remove the Plan bar chart, and use the x-axis as the plan.

I wish I could upload a picture or file to show you what I mean, hopefully, I made it somewhat clear.
