Chart Calculation

Hi,

I have a workbook with lots of charts (around about 100).

The structure of the workbook is as follows:

1 "Data" worksheet which contains output from the corporate system via columnar text dumps

1 "Graph" sheet - which contains the data for the graph (uses sumif to extract relevant information from the Data sheet and structures it in graph friendly format/layout). This sheet also contains the 100 embedded graphs in a designated print area - each graph has 6 data ranges.

The problem that has arisen is as follows:

The word "Calculation" displays constantly in the Status Bar at the bottom of the workbook. This is despite having the workbook set for automatic calculation and also pressing F9 to recalculating manually! It seems that Excel does not calculate everything!

I don't consider the content of the workbook to be sufficiently large to be pushing the limits by any means. But not sure what I have done to cause Excel these difficulties.

The worry is whether the data represented in the graph is fully recalculated!

Any help/thoughts appreciated.

Can you tell us how many cells in how many sheets, and how many of those are formulae?
